Project Runway

Even in anger, throwing a cat is never a good idea.

If you watch Project Runway, you know who Kenley Collins is. If you don't, then you'll still be interested to know Collins, who was a season 5 finalist, was arrested this week after assaulting her fiance. Collins claimed the altercation was a misunderstanding, but according to People Police reported:

Kenley was charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment after potentially striking a male in the head and face with a computer.”

The reality star allegedly also attacked her sleeping fiance with their pet cat.

Lollapalooza News

Lolla attendees had ample time to dry out today as the weather improved and summer reclaimed Chicago.  Friday was notable for showcasing the resilience of fans, as well as the performers who stepped up to the challenge of putting on fantastic shows to reward the dedication of those seeking a good time.  That ended up being pretty much everybody.  Saturday’s musical celebrations were even further off the hook, with absolutely nothing standing between fans and their music.  Lolla’s acts took full advantage of this spirit, delivering another series of exemplary productions.  The Internet was abuzz with chatter anticipating sets from The Delta Spirit and Thenewno2, who kicked off the day, living up to the hype.  Also making good on a boatload of buzz were Britain’s ensemble darlings Los Campesinos! and Swedish dark-poppers Miike Snow, who anchored an afternoon that bode well for the rest of the day.  With evening approaching quickly, big shows came thick and fast from the likes of Animal Collective, Ben Harper, Glasvegas, Santigold, No Age, TV on the Radio and Lykke Li.  Saturday headliners Tool and Yeah Yeah Yeahs left us with a warm feeling–the latter doing a rousing acoustic rendition of “Maps”–holding down those much sought-after end-of-day slots with power and grace. Another fun-filled, worry-free day in the bag, we’re already looking ahead to tomorrow.

In a recent EVERY1ISFAMOUS photoset, Kid Sister traveled to Milwaukee, along with Flosstradamus. And OMG! What is Kid Sister wearing?

Do you think she took the small alternative market of Milwaukee seriously enough if she showed up in a floral print pool dress? Do you think she only dresses up for ‘real cities’? When you’re in the alternative entertainment industry, you have to sacrifice comfort sometimes, even if you just went swimming in a Holiday Inn pool, and don’t feel like changing.

Community Blog Monday, April 13

Check out the [he]art exhibit, an amazing effort by Manny, an art student at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota who poured the casts for each [he]art and invited a community of artists and friends to each paint, decorate and design them individually. Each [he]art has it's own name and story. We love this, Community in art supporting the heart.

Today, Manny has officially launched the [he]art's for sale on facebook's marketplace. 100% of the profits go to what we're doing at heartsupport.
